Project Transformation Indiana 2020

Project Transformation Indiana 2020

Like so many other programs and projects, PT Indiana was at risk of not happening due to the pandemic. However, the national leadership and the heads of the local Project Transformation chapters designed a modified program for these modified times. The two Indiana host churches, Cumberland UMC and North UMC, were distribution sites for supplies of books, arts and crafts, recreation supplies and food and snack items. A website was also created and virtual programming was developed to mirror many of the typical in-person activities. Children in the immediate neighborhoods of the two churches could pick up the supplies and food during weekly distributions, and the website programming was available to all children entering grades 1 – 8, regardless of where they lived.
