Old Bethel UMC and Partners Food Pantry
Old Bethel and Partners Food Pantry has been serving Warren Township individuals and families for many years. Prior to mid-March, the pantry was seeing between 750 and 800 individuals each week, serving shoppers 20 hours each week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Since then, the pantry has seen double the number of individuals and families served on a regular basis and has maintained the weekly hours of operations. The grant from Metro Ministries was initially intended to assist specifically with the purchase of eggs. However, with the overall increase in demand due to the pandemic, pantry leadership was encouraged to use the funds however needed to keep the pantry shelves stocked.
